Introduction:

What better than a boat trip in the middle of the summer?
We will cruise along Sai Kung waters and check out Ung Kong Islands and High Island.

There are around 260 islands in Hong Kong. Amid them are these islands of various sizes in the Sai Kung waters, eastern Hong Kong. Facing the immense South China Sea, they have been braving waves and currents for millions of years. The power of nature gives live to all kinds of landforms including sea caves, sea arches and sea stacks; some of the sea arches are inter-connected. Tour members can observe in close distance these enthralling geological features and admire the wonder of nature.
The Tung Hoi caves (referring to the sea caves in Sai Kung waters) is one of the four nature wonders of Hong Kong.

On the tour day, our boat first brings us to Sharp Island. Lunch will be at High Island. In the afternoon, we will explore another renowned site - Po Pin Chau – an island off the East Dam of High Island Reservoir. Its Chinese name, literally means “split by an axe”, is a good representation of its formations. The hexagonal volcanic columns along the cliff bewitch every visitor. And, after the interpretation of our guides, tour members will certainly understand and appreciate more this fascinating volcanic rock form.
